Let’s Meet

We love meeting and encouraging new families! It’s important for you to choose a doula who you feel comfortable with and wholeheartedly believe will give you the support you are looking for in helping you navigate the early days of parenthood.

The best way to get to know us is to schedule a consultation with a The Doula Group. Simply complete our contact form and we will be in touch to schedule your complimentary initial consultation. If time is limited, we are happy to schedule a phone or video chat, too!

Your Postpartum Doula is Ready to Serve You

Our amazing doula team is ready to serve you in the Upstate area of South Carolina (Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Anderson). Our doulas will happily assist as you learn about caring for your baby while allowing you to be able to better meet your own needs (you know, like sleep!).

With The Doula Group, you have a whole team to support you!

Your The Doula Group doulas meet the highest stands of care, knowledge, support, and compassion. In additional to professional training and continued education, the Cradled in Love Team has mothered 19 children combined.

The Doula Group supports families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Benefits of a Postpartum Doula

“A postpartum doula is there to help a new family in those first days and weeks after bringing home a new baby. Research shows that moms, dads, and babies have an easier time with this transition if a good support team is in place.”
American Pregnancy Association
“A postpartum doula is a professional support person who’s trained to help not only the baby, but the family as well, in the days or months after birth.”
Aliza Bancoff, a birth and postpartum doula in Philadelphia and Founder of The International Doula Institute

“A postpartum doula can be a huge help during those first few weeks with a newborn, offering breastfeeding support, overnight assistance and more.”

“In the first few days that moms are at home, all the attention is often on the new baby – which is important and necessary! However, because dads often return to work immediately (or don’t take any time off at all) this often results in moms getting little to no postpartum support. Ultimately, moms suffer because of it. In fact, the whole family does. That’s why the support of a postpartum doula can be invaluable….”
