Sarah O'Rourke

Sarah O'Rourke is an Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)

and Internationally Board Certified Lactation consultant

(IBCLC). In addition, she has specialized training in

tethered oral tissues (more commonly known as tongue

ties). Sarah has also breastfed two children of her own.

Sarah currently serves both Greenville and Spartanburg

Counties and offers in-home prenatal and postpartum

breastfeeding consultations. She also offers virtual

consults through a secure HIPAA compliant platform.

Sarah Says....

I am passionate about helping families through their

breastfeeding journey because I've been there myself. I

know what it's like to struggle though breastfeeding and not feel like I had any support. With my first child I felt alone and discouraged and didn't know where to turn for help. When I gave birth to my second child, I was able to connect with a Lactation consultant through my doula who helped me work through the challenges that I was facing and I successfully breastfed for three and a half years. I want to provide that support to parents and help them meet their breastfeeding goals, whatever that looks like for their family.
